Hello
and welcome my name is Richard Guy-Gibbens I am 33 years old, for many
years I have loved being out doors taking in the sights and smells of
the countryside giving me a relaxed feeling and drifting away from all
the stresses of everyday life.
From as far back as I
can remember I have been coming out in the forest, when I was young my
dad would take me out and show me the different animals, their tracks
along with the strange and sometimes scary noises that they made. He
would put me at ease and show me that at the end of that horrible noise
was something interesting, something I could learn about.
As
I got older I liked the forest more and more, my friends would all be
out playing football as I was learning how to rear pheasants and work
with nature, we would visit old foresters and listen to tales around
burning log fires of how they had lived their lives in the woods and on
local farms and how they spent their youth, this captivated me and ever
since then the outdoors have been a big part of my life.
I now hold the Nationally recognised N.C.F.E Advanced Bushcraft award and you too can now come and learn to be at one with the outdoors and be taught the skills I have learned over the years, with my qualification and my fellow instructors experience in many fields, you can be sure that the skills passed on to you are at a nationally recognised level giving you the best chance to learn and passing on knowledge that can be relied on.
