From the word go your skills will be put to the test, you will come in, choose a location for camp, erect your shelter and from then on you will learn and complete a variety of tasks as if you were fending for yourself in the wilderness and a chance to use a handmade knife correctly for many uses including making fire shelter and preparing food.

This course not only teaches and prepares you for a Bushcraft weekend on your own or small group, but it gives you a chance to see areas that need improvement. It is advisable to come on the introductory day course before this one if you have no previous Bushcraft knowledge, however if you like a challenge it is not essential. These courses are created to give you an overnight experience and a longer time to learn particular subjects, not possible to learn in one day. They also give you something to work towards and see all your skills come together. Only £150.00 per person. (£50 deposit per person).

You will walk approximately 10 miles during the two days to some great remote locations. Practice some basic Bushcraft skills including: Fire by friction, Shelter building, Knife skills and Water purification. Practice some basic camp-craft skills whilst you set up a camp site for your night out on Dartmoor. You will also be cooking your own food (some food provided). Practice or learn some basic Navigation techniques. Night walk with maybe a couple of Dartmoor stories/legends told along the way. Practice some scenarios on what can be done in an emergency, including: improvised stretchers. Only £150 per person. (£50 deposit per person).
